India continues to grapple with ever-increasing numbers of Covid-19 cases, with its total count going past 2.66 lakh even as the more lockdown curbs have been lifted, allowing reopening of restaurants, hotels, malls and places of worship after a gap of more than two months.The coronavirus pandemic is worsening globally even as the situation in Europe is improving, the World Health Organisation has warned. According to its head Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, about 75% of cases reported to the UN health agency on Sunday came from 10 countries in the Americas and South Asia.
